The ideas for my work originate in a lifelong interest in science and the natural world, using all sources for inspiration – animal, vegetable, and mineral. The common theme that unites my thinking has, at its core, ideas around growth and reproduction, decay and transformation. Olive Smoke Tourbillon references crystal and rock growth, gems, and precious stones. It is jewel-like with radiant saturated color.
