Maurizio Donzelli at Rome's National Graphics Institute

From December 10, 2003 to February 1, 2004 Rome's National Graphics Institute will host "Spettacolo di Niente" at its Palazzo Fontana di Trevi center (Via Poli, 54). The exhibition that debuts the first edition of engravings to be executed in a series by L'Officina della Calcografia and soon to be released by Edizioni Mazzotta, Milan, also includes a full range of works in varied media by Donzelli who uses design as the key tool in his intellectual investigations of the relationship between ourselves and the external world.

Like his prints, watercolors, and video presentations, Donzelli's fused glass panels are visual reflections on his philosophy of art, reflections that take tangible form in the process of the making.
